About
Our Purpose
We exist as a church to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus. We want to love God with all our heart, soul, mind and strength and love our neighbors as ourselves as we strive to be the unified body of Christ. By the grace of God we, as flawed and imperfect people, will do the best we can at these tasks. We welcome you into our family and look forward to leading you to the relationships with God and others you long to find. The church is made up of real people living in a real world who serve a real God and we invite you to join us in our pursuit to love God and to love people to Him. CWC is Christ-centered, people-loving, joy-filled, hope-giving, and our vision is the pursuit of helping people find God, follow Christ, and be free to dream! We are not different for the sake of being different – we are different to hopefully make a difference in the lives of people.

Sun 8th Oct 6:00 pm 7:30 pm | Small Groups We are meeting for a discipleship-focused Small Group time Sunday nights starting at 6. There will be three different adult classes to choose from and classes for kids and teens. We want to see you there, everyone is invited! Adult Classes: Being Real With Wesley | Dennis Andrews leader | Conference Room The heartbeat of John Wesley’s life was to be a real, scriptural Christian. Our group will explore how John Wesley’s approach to full salvation aids our day-to-day life in experiencing Holy Love. Reactivity | Brad Clodfelter Leader | Fellowship Hall Brad will lead the class to discuss Paul David Tripp’s book Reactivity (you can order a copy here, but do not need the book to participate). “Digital media and technology are altering the way people act—and react—toward each other. Criticism, outrage, and controversy dominate social engagement and unfortunately many Christians have joined in the chaos. It’s a troubling contrast to Jesus’s words in John 13:35: “By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” Genesis: Image of the Creator? | Caleb Strickland Leader | Sanctuary Genesis is a guide that explores the fundamental questions of humanity: Why do we exist? Who are we? Why is the world the way it is? By studying the stories in Genesis, we can tap into ancient wisdom and connect with God to discover answers to life's most significant questions. Matt Starkey and Laura Clodfelter will lead our teen group. Tabitha Cardwell leads the Children’s group. Conference Room, Fellowship Center, Worship Center | |
